I recently built a pc and it was working fine until last week it suddenly started to power off while gaming and now it just restarts when i start the pc.

I'm using a APC ups and if i connect the ups the main power supply the pc shuts down immediately but if i disconnect the ups power cable from the wall power outlet the computer boots and works normal but shuts down when the UPS battery backup gets exhausted.

Please can anyone help me with this problem.

What's your PSU and UPS ?

Does PC work if connected directly to the outlet ? If no then it's faulty PSU that were working good for the time but now it can't bear with quality of your power line. When UPS run from the battery it delivers better quality electricity than in your outlet so the PSU works. But if PSU works when connected to the outlet but doesn't work when connected to UPS when it's in bypass then it's definitely smth wrong with UPS, does it power anything when in bypass ? Like other electrical appliances or desktop light.

I’m using Corsair cx650 80 plus bronze psu and I’m using APC 1100va/660w ups.

When I connect the psu directly to the wall Power supply it doesn’t turn on but when I connect the psu to the ups my PC turns on automatically without pressing the power button but if I connect the UPS to the wall power supply the PC shuts down immediately. I went to a repair shop and the person told me that the psu is working fine

If your PSU doesn't work from the outlet it's definitely not working fine. Most likely you have too high or too low voltage in your outlet, PSU sees that and doesn't turn on. UPS are completely unrelevant in this case.

Okay so what’s the solution for this problem?

Does your UPS show what's voltage on the line ? If it isn't right then it should try to fix it, i don't know why it doesn't. Can you check that PSU in another area to see if it's working there ?
