Minecraft blocks not showing?

This is a problem for me now, all blocks are invisible. (well except paintings and other such things which aren't actual 'blocks'.)

How do I fix this?

I can still place and destroy them, just not see them, so everything around me is invisible, though I can see the outlines when I target them.

I reinstalled Java but it didn't help. (didn't restart pc though after that)

This is in both multi and single player and in Tekkit and Vanila.

Its caused by Mantle and Java not getting along.  Someone posted this before, and I think someone linked a site that had a potential fix, but I am not sure.

As far as I'm aware, Mantle isn't the issue. The issue is that the new drivers break OpenGL. Link to other thread with link to fix below.

In that case I don't want Mantle. ;(

It is mantle. I had same problem, downgraded drives, and now it works

I'm on the 14.1 betas and with the two .dll files placed into the Java folder I'm playing just fine. It's not Mantle. The two updated versions of the files broke OpenGL as that is what Minecraft utilizes.

I was only saying it is mantle, as it started to happen when the "Mantle" drivers came out, and many other topics I have read say it was mantle.
