My screen goes black after new update (rtx 2070)

BlastLast

So uhhh.
Since I updated my drivers with Geforce Experience my screen goes black for a second or two once every time I start my PC during a random time. Even when I am not using my PC.  Anyone got the same problem or solution? Or am I an idiot for posting this here and not on Nvidia's forums?

I did it when it was released but it didn't fix the issue. I'm guessing there is something else wrong with my PC. Maybe a hardware issue.

Check the cable, what cable are you using?

Try using another one

The cables I use came with my Seasonic power supply 700W 80 platinium I think. It's brand new I bought it a month ago. Also since the error happens once every time I use the PC then it's probably software.

You are using a cable that came with the PSU to connect the monitor???

No, XD! I though you meant the cables I use to connect the video card to the power supply. My monitor is Alienware and I use an hdmi cable that came with the monitor to connect it to the video card (and not the motherboard! Of course.) The monitor is running in 240Hz 1080P and it has been running like that fine since i got the video card.

try lowering the Hz to 120....

My advice is DDU (clean uninstall) the GPU driver, download the latest driver, 441.66.

Disable internet (cause it will automatically install a driver.

Install the driver you downloaded from Nvidia site.

Unable internet.
