Is this new?

You may have a broken drive or a fake drive.

There are many fake drives that claim to have 32gb but in reality it only has 2 or 4gb.

its a used drive, this happened when i was trying to copy a file and it was taking too long so i SAFELY cancled it and pulled the usb drive out, i went into disk management and now it reads it as raw rather than ntfs

If you pull a usb drive from windows without ejecting it... you can corrupt it... especially if write caching is turned on.  Turning of the caching will allow you to remove it without ejecting, but it does slow down transfer speeds.
