I just installed my new PSU which is a Corsair RM750x . It all went well up to this very moment. I saw that one of my hard drives didnt Show up so i saw that one Sata Power connector was missing from the hdd. I turned off the Pc and hooked up a new Satapower connector from the PSU and connected it to the Hdd. Then turned the Pc on and for like a milliesecond the Pc was on and immediatly turned off. Tried starting it again but nothing happens.

Im thinking that i was staticly charged and shorted the pc or that the PSU is a faulty unit.

plz help.

What happens when you unplug that drive again? What if you unplug your PSU and leave it for a minute to let it discharge?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

So I've just tried that but it wont do anything/wont even start. Next what I'm gonna try is to plug my old PSU back in and try if it works with the oder one.

Update: i've just hooked up my old PSU and tried starting it aaaaand nothing. No post Code or boot just silence. My theory is that my Corsair PSU fried my mobo or everything.

A second PC to test with would be ideal, do you have a friend's system to try your old PSU  with to make sure?

Not really but i figured that my mobo always had a Post code light lit up when everything was fine. But now nothing lights up so my guess is that the Mobo is broken. But Im still going to test my Corsair PSU at a local PC Shop.
