I was setting up a seccond windows 10 drive and, it worked, then when i went to boot to my older drive, the os loaded i could log in, but the desktop bg wasn’t what i set it to originally it was set to black, and it wouldn’t let me access my own files, and the only software that works is settings, windows run, command prompt, task manager, and all my task bar icons are gone, and it says there is a problem with the task bar and to sign out so it can try to fix it, my attempts were futile, anyone know what happend

When you say setup 2nd Win10 drive, you mean you setup dual boot to another Win10 installation? Was this with new drive or drive that was already part of your previous install?

Messed up and installed the new over the old instead of to the new drive?

Always good to disconnect all drives but the one you want to install to before installing an OS.
