Hey all!

I have got this "new" laptop (open box from Best Buy), that since the windows update gives this pop up error when opening windows explorer for the first time after boot (please see attached).

There was a solution online to remove to delete iexplorer.exe from a directory but that did not help either.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Does this still happen all the time? I would recommend doing repair install. You can do it by accessing recovery menu.

explorer.exe means file explorer, iexplorer.exe is for Internet Explorer.

I would recover the system. Open Box are not shipped back to the manufacture for restorations. They are just returns, so it may have someone else data on it. BestBuy tend to delete the account, but that is up their minimum wage service staff to do a good job or not.
