I have a MSI GL63 8RC laptop. I have installed a WD 240GB SSD. I play games like RB6 nd mostly fps. The problem is when i play games which is installed in HDD my fps drops even it is a small game like csgo. But it works fine with my SSD in same settings even RB6 works fine. My HDD runs at 5400rpm. I have changed all the settings like power option, processor nd msi game booster to max, even i tried playing when my charger is plugged in but still i couldn't resolve. Do i need to chnge my HDD or is there any other option??

Help me out

Thanks in Advance.

Try to reset your graphics settings at default maybe this will solve your problem. I'm using a different laptop predator 300 but I think the outcome would still be the same. Benchmarks on my gta 5 with minor altered settings dropped my fps to 80avg. Then i switched to default graphics i came back to 120fps. Try defaulting graphic settings, helped me alot. Or maybe your laptop is thermal throttling?
