Is 650W enough?

I'm planning to build a Ryzen 7 3700X for cpu and MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming Trio for gpu. I was wondering if my Corsair RM650i psu can power these?

Well if 450w psu can power rtx 2080ti and i7 9700k, 450w is enough for you.

 

I have the same processor usuallu on 125-200 watts (when oc and stressed).

rtx 2070 super uses under 200w (when oc and stressed)

 

But yes, the 650w will be enough

You'd use around 400w max load. 650 is more than enough for a single GPU setup.

well... higher power vbios are a thing

 

so is 650w enough? yes

 

is 450w enough? no, because it'll likely either trip over a transient, or have a too high power vbios and shut down on ocp/opp
