smart phone with physical buttons

The Great Kamek

Does anyone miss their old, discarded phone that has home button and previous/app layer physical buttons? I, in fact, still own my iphone 7 for quite some time.

Yup, along with a headphone jack & removable battery. And before anyone chimes in telling me to "buy an adapter" and "you'll replace your phone before the battery wears out", no, and no. I'm not going to buy an adapter I'll lose or wear out nor am I replacing the stereo in my car when there's no physical limitation preventing manufacturers from putting a headphone jack in a device, and not being able to replace the battery in my phone is 1) a safety risk should I be unable to power down the phone for whatever reason and 2) a movement of planned obsolescence as I won't be able to continue using my phone for the 3-5 years I usually do because the battery will wear down.

It's in my forum signature... the OnePlus 5T. I bought it knowing the OP6T was just around the corner, but the OP6T doesn't have a headphone jack, and the price increase between the OP5T and OP6 wasn't worth it for my needs, so OP5T it was. Only pain point is the non-removable battery - lack of hardware Home & Back buttons still annoys me, but at least OP's Oxygen OS offers better customization than most stock Android ROMs for the navigation bar.
