Great guts in this build. The case obviously isn't pretty, but the performance will be solid.

A strong argument could be made for the RX 5700 in the same price range.

Decent build, here's a few suggestions.

SSD:

https://www.newegg.com/intel-660p-series-1tb/p/N82E16820167462?Item=N82E16820167462

This is a WAY faster SSD for the smae price.  The intel smart caching works wonders for gaming and windows boot times.

PSU:

https://www.newegg.com/seasonic-focus-650-gold-ssr-650fm-650w/p/N82E16817151202?Description=seasonic focus&cm_re=seasonic_focus-_-17-151-202-_-Product

This is a significantly higher quality PSU, and if you send in the rebate card its the same price.  If you get a lot of stuff from newegg you can send them all in together.  Corsair CX are not on par with the rest of corsair's lineup in terms of quality as they are made by a different OEM.  It will also save you money on your power bill.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

Link you gave says it's sold out, and 660p shouldn't really be recommended for a primary drive.

where does cx greylabel not perform great compared to its pricepoint?

and the ROI time is? keep in mind that cx greylabel is closer to silver in efficiency than bronze.

including the money you do or do not spend on heating. in the end its mostly about protections. and the focus fx has some issues in that regard. not major, but why buy a product with known flaws.
