is it a custom computer or a prebuilt as that could make a big difference, if it is custom could you list the parts you can see (psu usually has the name on it and you could use the about computer feature, cam, or another software to tell you what is in the computer), if it is a prebuild do you have the manufacturer name and model number

16gb ram with dual sticks are the best for you.

Bottlenecking could be your issue, but you should get this: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Radeon-Gaming-Graphics-ROG-STRIX-RX560-4G-GAMING/dp/B0716ZH99H/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=asus+gpu&qid=1575275856&refinements=p_89%3AASUS%2Cp_n_feature_keywords_four_browse-bin%3A6030981011&rnid=6030980011&s=pc&sr=1-4

it should be in sale, or look for this used

honestly from my understanding the 755 socket only really supports a few different cpu's of which the E8400 is quite good (dual core wise, you could go the quad core Q9650 but tbh you may as well put the money towards a better system), so the best bet would be to put a cheap 560/570/580 in there and probably a better psu as the psu in the options i see (for the DC7900) is either a 240w or 365w and also probably will not have an 8pin for the gpu (will need to check that none of the psu connections are proprietary as well, also im not certain if the 560 needs a power connector or can draw enough current through the pcie slot), though if you plan on upgrading a little in the future you could possibly put a bit beefier gpu and take the bottleneck hit until you can get a better cpu (will need motherboard and ram as ddr2 (which is what is currently in the system) is quite old, i believe the i7 2600k supported ddr3 and that cpu is 6 years old)

this is the document i have been using

https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c01570345

personally i would get a 590/5700(non xt) and flash the bios or a 1660/1660 ti/2060 (depending on the budget) and a 550-650w psu, then upgrade the cpu, mobo and ram in the future as then you shouldnt need to upgrade the gpu as well

But if the budget is quite low you could go a 560 -> upgrade cpu, mobo, ram, buy psu -> then upgrade gpu

5700 non XT.mkv

The video is a snippet out of the ltt boxing day build video

Get the cheapest graphics card you can get that starts with RX or GTX.
