PC randomly restarts itself without warning

Built a new pc (ryzen 5 3600) like a month ago, been having a great time but my PC suddenly started to randomly restart itself without warning, no blue screen of death or any other indications before it decides to do that either. It also wasn't an isolated incident, it restarted back to back 2 times last night and once when I was typing out this post.

I'm a bit freaked out by what's happening because it totally hasn't happened to me before. Also was planning to update bios to AGSA 1.0.0.4 but I don't want to risk bricking it midway through the update.

Would be nice if anyone could help me narrow down the cause of this problem happening

EDIT: forgot to include PC specs

Motherboard: Asrock B450 Steel Legend

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

CPU cooler: stock cooler that came

RAM: 8GB 2133 g. Skills (from old system)

GPU: GTX 1060 6gb (from old system)

Storage: Sandisk 240GB SSD boot drive and ADATA 960GB SSD

PSU: Corsair Cx550m bronze rated

Case: NZXT H500

Do you have a reset button connected to the motherboard?
Because i had it once spend 2 months looking and it was the reset button shorting on the case.
(Just so you can exlude this particular problem ;) )

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Not sure about that because my H500 only has a power on button and no restart button. I could try to unplug and replug the front I/O back

Small update on this

  1. Checked if display drivers were up to date, found out that they were in fact up to date.
  2. Swapped in another 8GB of ram (the old system had 16GB so this was the other stick of ram), didn't fix the issue either
  3. Unplugged and replugged all the I/O to the system in case of those shorting the PC out, issue still persists

Not sure what else i can do to fix it

EDIT: also removed GPU and inserted it back to the older system to see if it was faulty, turns out it wasn't.
