Help!

I have a gigabyte z390 with an i7-9700k and i thought i needed to update the bios but once i updated it, my computer stopped booting, now i updated it back to the old one and now it keeps BSOD saying CRITICAL PROCESS DIED.

Reinstall Windows.

 

 

 

Also what is it with people updating BIOSes for no reason then fucking up their mobos. Seriously.

Just copy it to an external drive or Google Drive or something.

How are you getting BSODs if you can't even boot your PC. There's nothing to crash if you can't get into your OS.

So what do i do when i get to the bsod to save files

How are you getting the BSOD? Can you even get to the lock screen or desktop?

 

 

Maybe use an external Linux USB. Should work unless your drives are encrypted.

it goes windows screen and then straight to bsod no lockscreen

Then do what I said with the external Linux USB. You'll need another computer to create it, but even a library PC will work.

 

 

Hell if you have a rooted Android phone there's an app called Drivedroid that you can use to host a boot image on your phone and make it act like a USB drive.
