Secondary monitor turning on and off

Hey guys! First post here.

So, basically, I've been using an old Samsung SyncMaster T190 as a secondary monitor on my PC (using DVI) for 5 years with no issues. Yesterday, however, it started doing this thing where it turns on and off when connected to my PC. I've checked and it's not a DVI issue, I've swapped the cable and tested a laptop using VGA on it, and it does the same thing. I have also tested other outlets and power cables. Can you guys tell if it's a solvable issue?
