Dumb question for headset

Hey guys I have a gaming headset and the cords are too short and keep super close to the desktop. Can someone point me to which extension cable to buy?

I assume its dual 3.5mm cables because you said "cords".

Ok, this might be a bit of a long work around but it worked for me: 

 

3.5 mm jack to USB 2.0 converter (get the name brand like Corsair or USBtech). USB converter to PCI converter and drive it direct from the motherboard. Best quality ever. I can really hear the enemies behind me! Make sure you get the common earth 3.5 dual channel braided cable, atleast 1-2m lenght. Un-common earth cable can lead to distortion and un-braided cable will lose some frequencies. 

 

JK: any female-male cable will do fine!
