No over clocking of any kind has been done to the CPU, no browser open at the time of recording.

Games for the last few weeks seemed.... off framerates not in the normal.

So I looked at the CPU and well, what the hell is this about? ?

The BIOS manages the clock speeds,

I think you should disable Cool & Quiet in the BIOS and see if it helps,

If it doesn't help tell us.

Thank you. Can you tell me what this Cool & Quiet is under in the bios? And actually, what is it? Cool at quite for the CPU?

I didn't use a Gigabyte AM3 board for a long time so i don't remember it clearly:

M.I.T>Advanced Frequency Settings>Advanced CPU Core Features>Cool & Quiet

You disable it with the Minus key.

It manages the clock speed based on the load,if you disable it the clock speed should be the same all the time (except for turbo)

@Vishera found it, and thank you, Yes I see where it says now it manages clocks on temps.

Disabled and?..... it worked! And the CPU is running at 36c.

So tell me.... do you think this is what was happening in the back ground during gameplay? The CPU not running full clocks, bouncing around causing frame rate or slight stutter issues?

Thanks!

This could definitely cause stutters, you can test it and see if it solved the stutters.

I had be glad to if you tell me if it solved the stutters :D

:D Testing now. Took a while but got Nvidia control panel vsync on(fast) and triple buffering globally and for each program.

really tiny stutters, we'll see if this fixed it :D

Having to vsync SUCKS. Just undone vsync and tripple buffer to check - 140fps with everything maxed in game.

But my ******* monitor is 60hz, so vsync it has to be ?

That suck,90% of the time i don't have tearing if the FPS is above the monitor's refresh rate,in my case it's in very specific games that i have to turn on V-Sync.
