As title says i am in need of a am3+ backplate and i hope to make it myself. The reason i would like to make it myself is to save time since me and my frinds would like to get our minecraft server running asap, and buying a backplate from china will take ages to ship. I heave no problems doing some diy, bbut i  need the mesurments and hole sizes but i was not able to find them.

There you go,and the holes should be drilled exactly at each corner:

You also need to do ceramic coating to the back of the backplate to prevent shorts.

Oh wow i though i could maybe just use my 3d printer to do it in abs since that is what seems like the ones from ebay are made of

If it's made from plastic then you don't need to do ceramic coating.

Break apart a  DVD case or CD case and cut square in the middle and drill holes and  you have the backplate

For extra safety, add a few layers of scotch tape / electrical tape on both sides.

Yeah i heave some plastic i can use and now that i heave the mesuremts i should be able to make it.

yeah thats what i was thinking.

This is the sorta thing i need to make i already heave the two blue parts

It looks good, you also have to replicate the square hole in the middle.

But i have one concern, plastic is not a good material for a back plate since plastic can crack or break from the mounting pressure.

I use steel backplate with ceramic coating on the back.
