Hi all,

I'm looking to design a socket mount (just for fun, not sure if I'll make it or not) but I want to find the drawings for the AM4 socket, rather than measure, because I want to make sure I have the exact measurements. Where could I find these. I spent awhile on google, but I could only find AM3 socket drawings.

Thanks in advance.

If you have the measurements, couldn't you draw it yourself? Either on paper or in a digital program such as Inkscape?

You could give me the measurement and I could whip something up real quick.

This line made it somewhat ambiguous as to if you had or had not gotten the measurements..

After Googling for a bit I couldn't really find a fully filled in diagram..

This weekend I could probably bring my calipers to work and measure the socket. If you have the time to wait on that (I would be able to post the measurements Saturday evening at the soonest), I could do that for you.

Just tell me exactly what measurements you were looking for!

@minibois That's alright. I have a nice set of calipers, it's just that they're not going to always be the same measurements as the manufacturer. My machine shop professor actually calls them guessing sticks because of how innacurate they can be. XD That may be what I have to settle for though.

Short of searching the web trying to find the AM4 reference sheet from AMD, measuring the socket yourself is probably the best way to figure this stuff out.
