New Wireless Keyboard

So the receiver for my trusty Microsoft Keyboard 1000 is on it's way out, and I'm looking for something to finally replace it.

As someone who spends most of their time typing on a laptop, I much prefer typing on a low profile keyboard, especially since I prefer not using a wrist rest.

I've tried all the major switches and if I'm being honest I didn't like any of them, I much prefer typing on a membrane keyboard as I find it 'softer'. 

 

Must Haves:

UK Layout

Wireless - preferably bluetooth

Low Profile

Compatibility with both Mac and PC

Volume controls

Numpad

 

Things I'd quite like:

Backlight - preferably white because I'd rather not have cancer quite yet

Macro/shortcut keys

 

Nopes:

Loud

Clicky

Switches

 

 

Basically, I want a laptop keyboard, but wireless. 

The only keyboard I've found that fits the bill is the Apple Magic Keyboard, but it's a bit overpriced (although I can get one for around £70 locally), are there any good Magic Keyboard clones?

Wouldn't the Logitech....Master Keyboard or whatever they call it fit the bill?
I think Microsoft also make a Surface keyboard.
Not sure if either are available in the UK layout.

The MX Keys? I looked into that as I love my MX Master, but it doesn't look like its available in a UK layout anymore, at least from Amazon

 

I honestly forgot the Surface Keyboard even existed! It looks exactly what I was looking for!

Yeah the Surface Keyboard is probably what I'd get if that was the style I was looking for.

Also check out the Matias, I think it might be a little closer to what you're looking for style wise and it might be cheaper?

The Microsoft Modern looks pretty nice too, and has a built in fingerprint reader.
