Im getting an NVMe for my new system. Either a 2TB NVMe or a smaller one and keep my games on an SSD, NVMe are expensive at that size.

Thoughts ?

Not entirely sure what my thoughts should be but . . .

I've been using my M.2 SSD for OS and M.2 NVME for my games. have had OS installed on the NVME before and didn't notice much difference switching it back to the SSD.

So i would suggest getting size on the SSD as its cheaper and you can get more space for your money.

Gamesystem: X3700, 32GB memory @3200mhz, GTX1080 Hybrid

Unraid system: Epyc 7352, 24/48, 96GB ECC buffered @2666mhz, 2x GT710, GTX1050Ti
