You have to use a DisplayPort cable, then go into the Nvidia Control Panel and enable G-Sync.

whats a display port cable? do they normally come with monitors? I did notice 2 other cords that came with this one

nevermind i do see a display port cable was provided? will this take the place of my HDMI cable or should i be using both?
