New Mouse

dylanA917

I currently have the mamba razer mouse but, I feel its holding me back in terms of gaining some serious improvement using a mice. I saw that weightless mice seem to be becoming very popular for gaming? Im intrigued to know how that feels essentially. Would you need to alter your dpi and in game settings to adjust to the weightless mouse? or would it still be relatively easy to adapt to

I imagine that depends largely on the person using it, so no one is really going to be able to give you an answer...you just have to buy it and see if you like it.

The important thing is finding a mouse that is comfortable to you, that's what really makes a difference.  Some people prefer heavier mice and some people don't.  The best thing you can do is to try it and return it if you don't like it.  Your adaptability will vary depending on how long you've used the Mamba for and how quickly you personally adapt to new things but don't fret about this, it really shouldn't be that big of a problem.

I bought a used Logitech g602 (the old version) for $25 on Amazon and I love it for work and gaming. It has a very comfortable form factor when doing any sort of productivity work, and it works really well for some gaming here and there. I play a lot of Final Fantasy XIV and haven't had any issues with it using this mouse.

Keep all your settings the same and it shouldn't take that long to get used to. (probably a week or two depending on how much you play). Changing your sens/DPI will probably mess up your aim more than just changing mice.
