I left a lot of room for peripherals, as I can't say much for the best keyboard and mouse for you. I personally use an old razer keyboard and $12 mouse so I can't say I have the best advice for those.

Intel is more expensive for the same thing.

but for your budget you can't fit a core i7, which is what would compare to the Ryzen 5 3600.

I've built using Intel per your request. I do agree that a Zen 2 chip makes a lot more sense in the current market.
