i have an i5 3550 clocked at 3.5 - 3.7ghz under load

i have the stock intel cooler that came in the box but when the cpu is at 90 - 100% the temperature is between 70 and 78c

is that normal? or should i get a new cooler?

I use to have the same CPU, same temps as you.

I changed the cooler to a cheap EVO hyper T4, temp never went above 70c

Edit: Easy OC to 4.1Ghz
