display Random black screen occurrence when playing games

Recently bought a new 144hz monitor, works fine in all cases except when playing games, in which the black screen issue would occur from time to time...

Basically the display would went black for 3-5 sec, with the game still running just fine (i can move, shoot, etc) after which the display would return to normal

 

Issue doesn't happen when i used my old 75hz monitor

Issue happened on HDMI, i don't have DP cable and would prefer to not buy it unless its a last resort...

Also since it's random, it's not easily reproducible unfortunately
"Premium High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet" is written on the cable itself, so technically, it should already fit the spec for HDMI 2.0

 

new monitor: Acer KG241QP (DP + 2*HDMI 2.0)

Old monitor: LG 21MK430H-B (VGA + HDMI 1.2)

GPU: Red Devil Vega 56

 

Games i've tried that had this problem:

1. Far Cry 5

2. Just Cause 4

3. Jedi Fallen Order
4. R6 Siege (happens more rarely in this game)

 

Things i've tried:

- Different cable

- Different port on the monitor

- Different port on the GPU

- Reinstall driver (both updating and clean install with DDU)
