Replacing my mouse. Recommendations?

Hi everyone. I'm going to be replacing my mouse. One of the thumb buttons no longer works, and I'm getting odd random double-clicks, so I'm thinking it's time to send my current mouse, a Logitech G500, out to pasture.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what to get. The only "tech" stores by me are Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Not a whole lot of variety there.

So here's what I'm looking for: similar size, or slightly bigger(I don't have Linus' tiny baby hands), wired over wireless, RGB not needed/necessary(I'm kinda 'meh' on RGB in general). I doesn't have to be a "gaming" mouse, just a good one.

I'm really hoping you all can help a guy out. Thanks in advance.

hi there!

I recently was seeking similar advice and was recommended an Corsair Ironclaw amongst a few others.

The ironclaw is what i bought. It has a wired option (both for use and charge) and functions on both 2,4ghz with dongle or bluetooth.

Needles to say i have been using it wireless, and only use the cable when it needs to charge (or when i run out of charge, i simply plug it in and continue with it being cabled).

Like you i'm not into RGB, this one however comes with RGB, i have selected a profile with a black color, effectively turning it off. Wireless via dongle it lasts a good 20 - 30 hours, depending on usage and dpi settings.

It is a bit of a larger mouse, which suits me perfectly because i'm mainly a 'palm' grip type of guy, but tend to claw it too.

I like the fact its a bit of a weighted mouse, doesn't come with adjustable weight tho (really doesn't need it in my opinion either).

Gamesystem: X3700, 32GB memory @3200mhz, GTX1080 Hybrid

Unraid system: Epyc 7352, 24/48, 96GB ECC buffered @2666mhz, 2x GT710, GTX1050Ti

Logitech recently re-released the MX 518 with their latest sensor. As far as finding a mouse that has a similar shape and will feel familiar that's your best bet

Logitech G402 is good mouse in my opinion. It has 8 programmable buttons. no rgb only blue Logitech logo with effects. I'm currently using one myself last six months. amazing experience for me.
