Hello.

I have a problem with NIC on my laptop. About a month ago I noticed that laptop disconnected from WiFi, attempted to reconnect and suddenly whole list of all available networks disappeared, after restarting laptop all of them reappear and I connect to my WiFi normally. This problem happens to be random, I can't really see any pattern, can happen ten times a day or everything works for a week. I tried Driver Easy software to update network driver but without any results. Is it my NIC faulty or some kind of driver incompatibility?

What laptop are you using? Does it come with a proprietary wireless manager, for example some older Dells ship with a wireless nic utility?

If you are not using the default network utility try uninstalling the proprietary one (not the device drivers) to see if that helps.
