I'm looking at a new AIO that runs all fans and the pump on one splitter.

So the 360mm runs 3 fans and a pump.

The 280mm 2 fans and a pump.

Will the 360 have reduced fan and pump performance as a result?

Will that cause it to draw too many amps from the header?

Side question, I've looked at charts from Gamers Nexus, LTT's Noctua vs Corsair AIO video. Seems like 280's out perform 360's much of the time.

Doesn't make sense with less surface area and slower fans?

bigger fans tho, move more air.
Also, the impeller at the middle (the motor) is a dead area, and there are 2 impellers on a 280mm AIO, and 3 impellers on a 360mm rad.

I didn't think about the dead space.

Based on that, would you expect a 280 to out perform a 360 of the same product?

I'd say they're basically equal. Just get whichever one fits your case better. If you're mounting it in the top, if a 360 fits, go with a 360. If you're front mounting, then get whichever one is cheaper. Generally 280mm is cheaper, so go with that.

Thank you. Will probably grab the 360 and top mount it.
