Windows 10 driver control panel issue

Windows 10 is forcing me to install my freaking control panel from the store. Is anybody experiencing the same problem as me???

Yes. It was installed way earlier and then my Nvidia control panel is gone. Then it shows that I gotta install it from the store

So NVIDIA will roll their control panel as an app now? Maybe you can try with an older driver that doesn't require this.

Nvm I got it. I reinstalled windows 10 2 times and I installed the driver before windows 10 update install it

I think Nvidia is planning to move their gpu control panel to windows store which sucks a lot.

No, there are two types of drivers DCH and the regular driver. The two types are explained here

DCH will replace the old driver model. This is a transition stage.

70% of the ratings for the app are 1 star LOL. Transition phases always suck.

From what I can read, they are all the same complaints as always with Nvidia drivers Control Panel mixed with people confused.

Yes the DCH drivers were terrible. I also saw a lot of people after updating windows 10 cannot find Nvidia Ctrl panel. Which I speculate that Windows update have installed the DCH version to force people to install the Ctrl panel from the store which is unreasonable and making it worst is that nobody likes windows store at the first place.
