I'm currently living at uni and have a server running at my parents place. To control it I normally use ssh to remote in and I can do most of the stuff through that.

The only problem is that the router at my parent's place is pretty tempromental, and whenever the router resets so does the IP. I'm pretty sure I can't convince them either to shell out another ~£30 just for a static IP.

I've heard of using services like Free DNS and duck DNS but I have no idea where to start with those.

What solutions would you suggest?
