Headphone Recommendation Thread

I remember there being a headphone thread somewhere with a bunch of recommendations. But, now it's gone?

Pretty sure this was before the age of riceguru though.

Yes there was a thread of recommended gear.  I'm not entirely sure what happened but I think it basically just became too large to manage and keep up to date so the main people involved just let it fade back into the archives.

i think there was. lol . pretty sure it wan't updated that often and a lot of new gear that came out since then. I would try to make a thread of my own but I personally don't  have the experience , knowledge or amount of gear to say anything super difinitive or confitent enough to publish especially with audio having so many factors to find the right gear for people. as a believer of try it before you buy it especially if buying something for a significant sum of money I think forums should be guides to point you in a certain direction and expose you to gear and options you may not be aware of it should not be the deciding factor and that goes for pretty much any peripheral. PC components are a different matter
