Wondering how i can clone my main hdd to my other hdd

My rig.... cpu i7-920 , MB asus p6t se , RAM 8gigs , GPU evga 760 sc , Case antec 900, western digital 2x500 gigs hhd , PSU  antec 800w , Display syncmaster 2233rz , Cooling antec kulher h20 620 ,  keyboard / mouse / headset    G15 keyboard , g500 mouse , Razor megladon headset

Invent a cloning machine or just copy all the data/backup all the stuff to the other HDD.

yea but how do i do it

I use clonezilla. pretty easy to use.

 

Use AOMEI Backupper's cloning tool.

does the hard drive that i am cloneing to need to be formated cuz right now it just has win7 on it

Exactly like the original.

I know. I work at a company where I'm one of the IT guys. I use AOMEI to clone HDD's when we think one is about to die. It's as easy as connecting the HDD, cloning the one I want to clone, which is usually the System drive (Local Disk C), then swap the two HDD's once the cloning is done.

It's very easy and fast.
