Hello,

I'm using a wifi adapter for my internet. Every so often it stops working and i get the default gateway not found error, which is resolved by resetting the wifi adapter.

So i've googled this and the fixes that i've tried are: (manually setting my ip, subnet mask and gateway), (turning off the power saving mode on the wifi adapter), (uninstalling and reinstalling drivers) and (changing wifi modes from 801.11a/c/g to 801.11g [cant remember the actual modes or numbers but its something like that]).

These have not fixed the problem.... is it the adapter or is there something i haven't tried that is obvious?

This is so annoying in games :(

So this is an older adapter then... It may be time for a new one at this point. Is it a PCI card or a USB adapter? Are you having issues with any other devices connecting to your access point?

Assuming your board is Rev 1, go here and ensure both your drivers and your BIOS are up to date. Just double check your boards model number before flashing the BIOS. Are you having issues with any other devices on the network connecting over WiFI?
