Wraith Prism Stopped Spinning

TurtleMcGurtle

Hello,

I have a Wraith Prism cooler that was working completely fine and then I unplugged it out of curiosity and then plugged it back in and now it won't spin but the RGB works. Also, when in the BIOS and I tell it to go on full speed, the RGB flashes but then nothing else happens. Could I have murdered it somehow? any help would be greatly appreciated!

on the board yeah, i mean. you unplugged it and plugged it back in. if it was working before it'd be kinda weird if it was software related. more likely a pin/cable that died out

That is, aslong as you didnt plug it out with your pc still on. then it could be software (but you shouldnt do stuff like that in the first place. hope you have enough common sense for that, i assume you do)

I may or may not have (ok I did) plugged it into the LED_CPU slot cuz I thought it would give me uhhhh RGB control (cuz I’m stupid) then turned it on.... honestly I thought that’s what a different forum was saying to get RGB control working. Could that be an issue?

Yes, they have different volts, so you could have just broken your cooler.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

There's two cables, one is for fan control and one is for RGB control.
