What do you want this computer to do? If it's for games what resolution and refresh rate are you playing at? I would recommend upgrading to Windows 10, Windows 7 is getting pretty old and it's ending its support from Microsoft. The case makes almost no difference to performance, mostly for ascetics.

5700XT does the 2070's job at a lower price, unless you want to record videos or do streaming which you should buy the 2060S (tiny bit slower than 2070, noticeably cheaper) or 2070S (a tier faster, tho does cost more)

@Darpyface noted Windows 10, well for the case that's true, guess i'll just replace the fans since they're acting up.

as for res i need something beefy to tame my big 65" 4k TV XD refresh rate isn't that big of an issue since i'm mainly an RPG guy and Call of Duty is a side thing

@Jurrunio i gotta say i have never Ever tried an AMD GPU before but cheap for the same performance sounds like a good trade. and no i only use it for gaming / browsing but sadly no ray tracing on AMD as of yet which is a bummer. guess i'll weigh in how much i want that tech and do the final purchase then

thanks everyone :3

it's not like the current Nvidia cards are good at that either with the massive frame rate dip when you enable RTX effects, tho bad support is better than pretty much none.
