I can't find where that page says 6gb/s. I see one spot it says "Lettura sequenziale: 260 MB / s; Scrittura sequenziale: 35 MB / s" so 1/4 GB/S read and 0.035 GB/S write and one where it says "Lettura sequenziale: fino a 480 MB / s; Scrittura sequenziale: fino a 100 MB / s" so 1/2 GB/S read and 0.1 GB/S write.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

I think this is likely not much more than an SD card with a SATA adapter in a pretty case.  I also think you wasted 7,98€ if you think this is going to be an faster than spinning rust.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

You could have gotten something you know is legit like this:

https://www.amazon.it/Kingston-SA400S37-240GB-SSD-Interno/dp/B01N6JQS8C/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_it_IT=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=A400&qid=1572830828&sr=8-1&th=1

It's barely three times the price but still holds practical use. Not to mention it is a pretty good entry level SSD in general. I bought the 480GB model a while back and it proved to be a great entry point without spending much money. It's still a budget SSD but a good budget option.

For an experiment though? Knock yourself out. I'd love to hear the results. :)

It's been a while lol but I am pretty satisfied with the SSD. It has about 400MB/s in read and 250MB/s in write speed only for 7,98€!

Cool to know. What do you use it for? Are you actually using it to run an OS from or something?

I'm not confident about running the OS on it because it is still a pretty cheap SSD and may not be reliable. I just store a few programs on it which I need. I can't really complain because it has really good speeds for the price! I think this could also be a profit!
