Worthwhile?

Hi Guys, just wanted to ask some advice, I work in a shop that sells gaming laptops and I have seen one on the company website.

 

Asus GX501, i7-7700HQ, 16GB, 512GB SSD, Maxq 1080 8gb 

 

I can get this for £960 (1241 USD) with my discount. Is this a good deal?

 

And on a side note I have a older desktop at the moment which I would like to get rid of and put the cost toward another system. I currently have a system with.

 

i5-4460, gtx 960 1gb, 16gb DDR3, 120GB SSD, 2TB HDD.

 

There isn't anything similarly specified in the online markets where I live so I was just wondering what you guys would think would be a reasonable price for both parties.
