Hello to this awesome community B)

I'm on holiday at the moment in Salzburg Austria and my friends and family have asked if I would make some videos of the place and that got me thinking about the travel log videos that Linus makes at Computex.  I have the idea that instead of uploading 20 plus videos why don't I make a little travel blog video myself.

I'm looking for a good free video editing software as I don't want to pay for it as I don't video edit often but i have done it before a couple of years ago in collage so it don't need to be too nube friendly.

Basically I just cant be bother to look around myself so I thought you guys are awesome and probably know about this anyway.

Thanx in advance.   :D

The best one is LightWorks, but it's kinda hard to use.
The problem with it, is that if you want to use certain codecs, that are proprietary, you will have to pay. Lightworks doesn't want your money, but to allow you the use of something like h.264 compression, you must have a license for it. for around 14 u$s a year, you get the full premium license with all the codecs.
If you don't need to use those formats and such, then you can get away with a top notch editing software,

Lightworks actually does allow for h.264 Exporting (but limits resolution to 720p), ready to upload to YouTube. All Import formats are the same for Free and Pro.
