EGPU Experiment

Mr.Blueboy

I have a 2015 Dell Latitude E5440. Intel i3 4030U @1.9 ghz, 12gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram, Intel HD 4400 1gb, 1tb Seagate Firecuda SSHD. I was wondering how I can put a Radeon RX 480 on this machine via PCI-E on my nvme SSD slot. Will the EXP GDC beast or something of the liking work? What tweaking of drivers and bios, etc do I expect to do? Lastly, is this even possible? Thanks.

Specs: Intel 4th gen i3 4030U @1.90 GHz | 12 Gb 1600 Mhz DDR3 RAM | Intel HD 4400 2 Gb | 1 Tb Seagate Firecuda SSHD | Windows 10 Pro

2015 Dell Latitude E5440 14"

(And yes, I game on this...)

I'm doing it just as an experiment just to see if it works

But...it's pointless. That's like saying you want to run a car on gold. Could you? Perhaps. But why...

It's just a waste of time and money.
