So I'm new to this forum but I enjoy Linus' videos, I came here because I figured people would know what they're talking about. Anyway, I have a brand new custom pc, Ryzen 5 2600 with an rx570 factory overclocked, very impressed and happy, but I keep having this problem where things are loading in as hard bright colors, I left my pc for a few hours and came back to the most extreme case I've seen yet. No big deal, I can just reload, normally this problem just shows up in stuff like the youtube thumbnails or the text like you see in bright pink on the middle tab. Is this a janky driver? Please lme know what I can do to fix this, I'm new to the pc world btw ;0 :edit: My gpu is running on a molex to 8 pin adapter just fyi but I don't think that should matter.

Looks like a typical AMD driver issue. Are you using the WHQL or Adrenalin?

I don't know, I had my local pc shop install the drivers.

Here's a link to the more-polished, latest AMD drivers for that card (WHQL = certified for windows jargon, means it was more heavily vetted for bugs) as I see that you're running Windows 10 x64 (I'm assuming it's 64bit as it'd be weird to not be):

https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-edition-19.9.2-sep23.exe

Also just checking, but since you're using an adapter instead of a native 6/8 pin PCIe power cable for your GPU, what exact power supply are you using?  I really hope it's not poorly handling transient loads or under-serving that GPU as that won't age well at all.

It's a cheap 450W Astro Power PSU, I think Apevia makes it, my system wont be drawing more then about 350W, so until I upgrade it should do. Also thanks for the drivers. Should I uninstall my current drivers or am I safe to just download without any prepping? Sorry I'm still new to pc's and haven't had any experience with drivers yet.

It's probably cleaner to uninstall the old ones first, but if they weren't being all weird and it was just an upgrade to get newer games you could install over-top your current ones.

In short: worth doing a driver clean removal first since they might be the issue or a bit botched.
