CPU upgrade

I was wondering if a FX 6300 would go well with a r9 270 (I'm upgrading from a AMD athlon 64 x2) because that is the best cpu in my price range.

I really DON'T want it bottled necked because I want this cpu to last a while thanks.

you will be fine, 6 cores is more then enough and you wont be bottlenecked

The FX6300 is a great CPU and it will run just fine with your particular GPU.
