So, I have Biology laboratory every Tuesday morning, and I took the opportunity to take pictures of what we are examining.

Our microscopes cost $2800, and use Olympus lenses.

So far we have examined a flea and some pond water. In the future we will also take a look at cheek cells, blood cells, bacteria, and viruses.

So far this Is all I have, but I will post more when I get the chance.

Please note that all images are flipped upside down, darn lenses.

Just thought it would be cool to let others see what normally isn't visible to the naked eye.

Please feel free to ask any questions, or make a request of what you want to see under a microscope, and at what magnification (40x, 100x, 400x, and 1000x). I can't guarantee that I will  be able to take pics of what you request, but I can try.

Does the flea have to take a crap?

Maybe. What you are seeing is actually a pouch for waste storage. So it's either pee or poop.

can i kiss it?

I wouldn't, you risk contaminating the slide, or yourself.

Not quite sure what you mean, maybe a bad translation?

Sure, I will take some pictures of either an eyelash or some head hair, although don't expect a cross section, but rather a look at the root and the exterior structure.

Between microbiology and physiology I've always hated the subject. You just reminded me of all those times I fell asleep during 2 hours labs. Chem labs on the other hand...

Only 2 hours? Mine is 4 :P

Also, my chem lab is 4 hours, twice a week, but titrations are starting to get boring...
