Hey,

I bought control a month  ago and I’m experiencing a lot of ghosting and smearing. I want to point out that it is not related to my display! I played it on my 4K tv in living room and recorded a few seconds of footage and played it back on my 144Hz Tn monitor and the same thing happend. I’m running Rtx 2080 super and i9 9900kf Oc 4,9 GHz. Is it a dlss problem? Thanks for answers ❤️

i dont think what you are experiencing is ghosting, if you are sure of your monitor performance.

its probably just a low polling rate from the controller. Most gaming mouse nowadays has at least 500-1000mhz polling rate, typical console controllers have 125mhz i think......maybe its that? I could be completely wrong though......

I dont think it has anything to do with it, why would it?

Does it have TXAA? That uses data from previous frames to smooth out the image, but in movement it looks like smeared shit.

Control only has MSAA which is disabled when DLSS is on

Im including a video of how it looks like

Yeah, that looks like some form of temporal something. I don't have the game, but try toggling everything off and turn it all back on one at a time until it happens again.

Edit* Maybe just a really bad implementation of motion blur?

Double edit* Googling "Control blur" pops this up. https://steamcommunity.com/app/870780/discussions/0/1638668751273626876/
