B450 supports overlcoking and you may be able to find better boards. Also, it depends on silicone lottery if you want to overclock

Taichi X470 is one of the best AM4 motherboards out there.

Forget the X570 mobos for now, they are over priced. For the price you are paying for a average X570 you get a amazing X470.

yeah....... thats not happening unless you hit the 1/1000 silicon lottery. (edit: unless the board is literal garbo then its nothing to do with the board)

where does this claim come from? that mobo can overclock the chip as far as the chip will go.

Best I can do with my 3700x on an x370 Crosshair VI Hero which was one of the best x370 boards produced was 4.2 at 1.35v on my 3700x.. no way in hell you ever going to get an all core at 4.4 without pushing 1.5 or more volts though it.

if you hit gold with silicon lottery and use some toasty voltage. maybe you will get 4,35. per CCX overclocking can have some more luck, but usually not much better.

Zen 2 is almost allways just better left doing its own thing with PBO.

Yep, I have mine left at stock except for RAM which I boosted from 14-14-14-32 3200 to 16-16-16-48 3600 and added some manual SOC voltage to keep it fully stable.
