I have been experiencing some crashes involving RAM so I went and purchased another set of RAM to see if that would fix my issue. However I have only just thought to check the motherboards website to see the list of compatible RAM and noticed neither the current or new set are listed. Would this be a issue or is it less of a concern nowadays with AMD? Oh and I am running a ryzen 3600 in MSI X470 pro carbon, latest BIOS.

It's not that big of an issue anymore, but I do still recommend people to get validated RAM just to be safe. Even though I'm running un-validated RAM in my system.....

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

The issue I have is I have this game (iracing) that randomly crashes giving me error 0xC0000005, searching online points to it not being able to issues regarding ram.  So I did memtest, reinstall windows (and game) and limit the amount of ram available to the game none worked. So it was just me getting desperate hoping that swapping the ram would fix it as I have noticed I have actually been experiencing the issues (just not as consistent) since upgrading cpu, mobo and ram. Also doesn't help that I brought the ram used and it's 4 4 4GB stickswhich will not be easy to troubleshoot.

However the issue seems to have gone now as I have increased the page file from 3GB to 13GB and I found a recent bios update so did that as well. Fingers crossed it stays this way.
