Screen size is irrelevant. With 1080p, it's the same amount of pixels if you have a 24" or a 65". The only difference is pixel density will be much lower on a larger screen, making it so you see the individual pixels more so than you would on a smaller screen. But you won't have any performance difference whatsoever.

i am currently playing on my HTPC in my living room with a 43" 4K tv set as 1080p with a 1660ti. whats the difference in performance if i were using a regular 24"-27" monitor or better yet does this screen size even though 1080p will it impact my fps?

I'm gonna have too much fun explaining this :)

Okay, a Television generally have more input lag (the time between you pressing W on your keyboard and it appearing on the TV).

Response time is also slower (the delta of pixels changing) which will result in ghosting such as when moving a window.

Television also generally have 60hz panels unless you own a BFGDR which I doubt you do.

To answer your last question. No. Resolution is the same on all display be it on your TV or on your phone. What effect FPS is you game settings.

Ok Thanks though one would think that there'd be a difference since technically bigger screen size though still 1080p would mean more pixels since its a bigger surface

There actually aren't anymore pixels or subpixels on a 1080p TV than there are on a 1080p monitor.  The pixels themselves are simply larger, so assuming the TV and monitor have the same refresh rate, the game would play as smoothly on a 60" 1080p TV as it would on a 22" 1080p monitor.
