Steel Series Apex switches

Hello, I want to replace the switches in my Steel Series Apex. What switches can I go with. I would like to go with Novel Jade's. But if it doesn't fit I would like a recommendation on a switch that will fit that is similar to that if possible. Thank you,

It completely depends on which Steelseries Apex you have.

 

Edit: Some are just rubber dome over membrane, some use Cherry MX style swithces, and one uses hall effect switches.

depends on the exact model.... my M260 for example came with Kailh Blue switches but I think the M750 has Gateron blues.

I would just get a new keyboard if I were you... Some SS APEX keyboards use rubber domes over membrane and some use proprietary Steel series switches which has a different pin layout than conventional Cherry switches. In addition, replacing switches is a bit of a pain on prebuilt boards. If you want to do all that de-soldering and soldering you may as well get a proper pcb and case.
