I chose GTX 1660 TI Strix OC for 2560x1080 gaming,good choice?

I'll never surrender. 2060 will do 1080p60 for longer than 1660ti, so it will pay for itself by simply being worth using for longer.

From what I can tell the OP already has the 1660 Ti? Unless they're down to return it and get a different card, this seems pointless...

He is pointing that like RTX 2060 is much faster,and clearly 10 fps is difference which is not important to me because I'm limited to 60 fps.

I agree with Bob,I got 1660 Ti and end of story.

wait till it gets to the time when 1660ti is slow enough to visually cause stutters while 2060 doesn't. I'm going through that with my 1060 laptop btw, it's now doing 1080p at low or medium settings. I really hope I paid 300cad more for a 1070 laptop that can at least last 2 extra years playing games.

Laptop 1060s are usually a bit below desktop hardware and thus slow down faster. 

1660 Ti seems to be about where the 970 was in it's day, and that card is still kicking 1080p pretty easily. Doubt the 1660 Ti is going to degrade massively, games haven't been getting that much harder to run, and they're usually optimized for midrange cards. 

That said the 2060 is a bit faster and will last a little bit longer, but unless OP wants to bother with returning the 1660 Ti, there's no pressing need to upgrade. This isn't like a 1050 Ti or something vs a 1060 (rather large difference there), the 1660 Ti is already a damned solid card on its own.
