Just installed H100i aio on my 8700k. While playing fortnite, only having discord and my temp tracking software open my CPU temps were floating around 60 to 65C and my 1080ti was at 70C. 30-40C idle or just watching streams on Twitch.

Is this normal? or did I do something wrong while installing my aio? I didn't really pay much mind to temps playing when I had my Cryorig h7 fan cooler to compare but while playing with my friend he had a much cooler 20-30C with his fan cooler his CPU.

8700k is stock atm, reset everything in my bios and planning to learn to OC once I know my temps are fine.

Looks normal to me. At stock, most motherboards will throw way more voltage at it than required for the load its doing and will lead to increased temps.

What motherboard are you using and what are load temps?

Voltages? 8700k is hot chip and Intel chipsets draw more voltage than needed by default. You can get it down to 60-65C (depending on the room temp) by using manual/adaptive voltage.

Not sure, may be something I need to check.

Asus Multicire Enhancement is likely enabled by default which is basically an auto-oc. Check and see if it's turned on. If it is, you can disable it for lower temps.
